  16. 2 tablespoons Oil
  17. 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  18. 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  19. 1/8 tsp Hing/ asafoetida
  20. as per taste Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
  21. 1 tablespoon Chopped green coriander to garnish

  1. First, wash and dry the brinjals. Then give them slits in a cross section but do not cut into pieces. Keep them dipped in salted turmeric water.
  2. Now heat 1/2 tablespoon oil. Add chopped onion and garlic. Saute till translucent. Then add peanuts, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, red chillies, and saute till aromatic.

  6. Add the remaining stuffing mixed with warm water and cook well till done.
  7. Squeeze lemon juice on top to finish the dish. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with freshly made chapatis. Enjoy your meal!
